Privacy Policy
At Christian Financial
Ministries, we place the highest priority on protecting the integrity of
all of your data, your transactions, or you.
Because we gather certain types of information about the customers of
Christian Financial Ministries, we feel you should fully understand the
terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information.
This privacy statement discloses what information we gather, how we use
it, and how to correct or change it.
Information
Christian Financial Ministries gathers and tracks two types of information
about customers: (i) data that customers provide through optional, voluntary
registration on our site and (ii) aggregated tracking information derived
mainly by tallying page views throughout our site. The information enables
us to better tailor our content to customer's needs and helps us better understand
the demographics of our audience. Christian Financial Ministries does not
share information about individual customers (except as may be required by
subpoena, search warrant or other legal process) with any third party who
is not involved in the customers' specific transactions. Christian Financial
Ministries gathers customer information in the following manner:
Electronic newsletters (Dispatches)
The Christian Financial Ministries site may offer free electronic newsletters
to customers. Christian Financial Ministries will gather the email addresses
of customers who voluntarily subscribe. Customers may remove themselves from
Christian Financial Ministries mailing lists by following the instructions
contained in every dispatch.
Surveys
Occasionally Christian Financial Ministries may conduct customer surveys to
better target content and services to our audience. We never share any information
regarding individual customer identifiable data with any third party.
Usage Tracking
Christian Financial Ministries tracks customer traffic patterns throughout
its site. However, it does not correlate this information with individual
customer identifiable data. Christian Financial Ministries segments overall
usage statistics according to a customer's domain name, browser type, and
MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information
contained in every customer's browser).
Cookies
A cookie is a small data file that certain Web sites write to your hard drive
when you visit them. Generally, a cookie file can contain information, such
as an ID, that the site uses to track the pages you have visited, but the
only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply
yourself. Generally, a cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read
cookie files created by other sites. Christian Financial Ministries uses
cookies to track customer traffic patterns (as described above), when you
click on various links throughout the site. When you make a purchase, Christian
Financial Ministries uses a cookie to store your ID. We do not store passwords
or any personal information about you. We use this ID to identify you anonymously
in our database and to track the pages you visit on our site.
Use of the Information
Christian Financial Ministries uses any information voluntarily given by our
customers to enhance their experience in our site. The info is used to provide
interactive or personalized elements on the site or to better prepare future
content based on the interests of our customers. As stated above, Christian
Financial Ministries uses information that customers voluntarily provide
in order to send out electronic newsletters and to enable customers to participate
in polls and message boards. We may send out newsletters to subscribers,
and occasionally send out special communications when we think customers
might be interested in certain activities. Christian Financial Ministries
never shares newsletter mailing lists with any third parties, including advertisers
or partners. We use tracking information to determine which areas of our
sites customers like and do not like based on traffic to those areas. Christian
Financial Ministries does not track what individual customers read, but rather
how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better
service for you.
We track search terms entered into our search engine as one of many
measures of what types of products our customers are looking for. We
do not track which terms a particular customer enters.
Opt-Out Policy
Christian Financial Ministries gives customers options wherever necessary and
practical. Such choices include:
-Opting not to receive our electronic newsletters and order status emails when
using the site.
